Bladen / Robeson lists, I'll give anyone $100 or donate it to their favorite geneology project, if they can give me information (with a source) on the following : BEFORE 1850 , where was William Harrell or his wife Flora Ann Harrell. He , Flora and 3 children were listed in the 1850 Bladen County Census of North Carolina. I believe I know where he moved after 1850 (south Georgia) but I can't find any info on where he was before or what his wife's maiden name was. It's not clear if he was born in NC or SC. The Ga census of Berrien County , 1860 says one and the 1850 census of Bladen says the other. He would have been born about 1808. To add to the confusion, lot's of Harrells were named William. I'd love to find a marriage record as well. Flora (Flora Ann) would have been born about 1823. Their first child, Jesse, would have been born about 1846. He might have had a earlier marriage, given his age, but Jesse is the oldest child living with them. Post your info to the NCBladen list or the Harrell list. Thanks, Tim Harrell [email protected]
