    3. Bladen_County_lookupHi Rexanna, I can't find them at all! I found a later marriage of a Sugg groom and a Lucas bride. I checked Bladen County Heritage book, Montgomery County Heritage book, Ancestors, Wills of Bladen and Montgomery counties, Marriages of Bladen and Montgomery counties, Early NC Will Abstracts and Testators Index (no Will for George or Sally/Sarah, and one William Lucas, Will filed 1824 in Guilford County) I did find a Colonel George Lucas, d. 1807 "for several years a representative from Chatham County in the legislature". In another book this George Lucas had a 21 year old son, Peter William Lucas, of Brunswick, VA, who also died in 1807. I hope you can help me. I am trying to get information on a George Lucas who married Margaret Sugg(s). I find a George Lucas in the early (1790-1810) Bladen censuses. Later he was in Montgomery Co NC. He was born approx. 1742, supposedly came over from England. One of his sons, William Lucas (my ancestor) was in the Rev. War. Don't have much more than that on him. Am trying to get more info on his wife and her family also. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you - Rexanna Gonser
