Trouble is they now live in Florida and here am I in PA. As to the subject, I haven't done badly but am up against a stonewall by the name of Bennett Smith. He is reported to have been born before 1755 in either New Hanover or Bladen County, married after 1790, to a Nancy ?. They had 8 children all born in New Hanover County. one time land owner on the East side of South River next to property owned by John Haynes. Bennett was born before 1755 to a Nancy ?. Drury and James were other family members; may have been brothers. What I really want is the name of his father, and anything else associated with him. I hope you are a miracle worker, and I thank you very much for at least trying. Bob
