    3. Hi Rob, I live in Atlanta so everything that I know comes from books. As for Nancy McShaw Colville: From # 17 (The Bladen Heritage book again) 627 THE MESHAW FAMILY OF BLADEN COUNTY ". . . The name may be the corrupted form of the name McShaw, but I have not ascertained this. I can state that the parents of my great-great-great grandfather, Daniel Andrew Perry (20 June 1797-27 December 1873) were John Perry, Sr. married to Nancy McShaw Colville. Nancy's father is Lon McShaw. . . ." I do not know whether your Perrys came from England or Scotland. It verifies my suspicion that David and Daniel Perry were brothers. David was my g-g-g-grandfather by way of his daughter Mahalah Rebecca Jane Perry Burney. In addition to answering a question I've had for a long time about the Perrys, your information verifies that I am "double kin" to a number of my relatives in and around Bladen County. I am also pleased to learn that John Perry, Sr. was a member of the Continental Army. I'll have to investigate him further. Are there any books in the Bladen County Genforum collection that would indicate whether the Perrys came from Scotland or England? Also, do you know whether Nancy McShaw Colville was related to the Shaws in Bladen County? Once again, thank you very much. Rob Burney
