    1. Re: [NCBLADEN] Resending the Family History Article
    2. As requested by Thelma Blackburn, I am resending the attached article about the 80 billion records going on line. If you do not get it, please e-mail me and I will send it directly to you. I would also suggest checking www.familysearch.org on a regular basis. It is changing on a daily basis of what is available. My husband especially has helped a lot of people using this site. Also - there is a site that I can send if anyone is interested to help with indexing the Granite Mountain Vaults to get more records released. I have already sent the information to Allen and Betty Johannes to hopefully enlist volunteers in their part of Texas. We have quite a few here in the Fort Worth area but could always use more around the country. One of the reasons I am so anxious about getting these records out is that I hope someday to find out more about by gg-grandfather Larry Dew (c. 1820 - 13 September 1861) and my gg-grandmother Martha (Patsy) Pait Dew (c.1833-?). My dearly loved cousins in Bladen, Sampson, Robeson and Cumberland counties have been on the search with me for more years than we can count. We have turned over every stone and tromped through more cemeteries, looked in more records than you can imagine. We are hoping that as these records come out that we can go back further than the 1860 census to find more about them and trace our lines. I hope others will be helped by the release of these records. Take care and bless, Ada Silver-Hauser Bedford, Texas Families: Dew, Davis, Pait, Brisson, Russ, Nance, Pittman, Freeman, Hester
