Author: ideerwmn1 Surnames: McArthur,Shaw,Hall,Burney,Taylor,Grimes,Daniell,etc ,etc Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.northcarolina.counties.bladen/3060.1.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Wes, Your post interested me because I have been trying to locate information on my GGGGrandmother Ferriby Ann Taylor b:23 Jan 1812 in Bladen/Cumberland Co d:28 Feb 1897 buried in Camp Ground Meth Ch Cem in Cumberland Co,NC She married William Pitt Hall 24 Jun,1830 Cumberland Co [he is the GGGrandson of the Hon Robert Daniell,Landgrave and Gov of SC and NC] they had 10 children: Francis Elizabeth Hall b:09 Jul 1831 James Wesley Hall b:17 Mar 1833 Lydia Sophia Hall b:27 Apr 1835 John Green Hall b:22 Jun 1839 Julia Anna Hall b:07 Oct 1841 [my GGGrandmother] Margaret Ferriby Hall b:04 Aug 1843 William Stephen Hall b:06 Mar 1847 Mary Jane Hall b:07 Jul 1848 Caroline Watters Hall b:03 Apr 1851 Agnes Taylor Hall b:06 Dec 1854 According to past family researchers Ferriby Ann's parents were John Taylor and Feriby Unknown but that is all I know except for the POSSIBILITY that she was orphaned and raised by her Grandmother and that she MAY have been distantly related to Zachary Taylor I have no info on her siblings either If any of this jibes with what you know I would love to hear from you,if not then at least I will have narrowed the field--lol Thank you for your consideration, Happy Hunting!!
