Hi Dee, Thanks for the reply... Yes, I have the same problem....My Gt. Grandmother, Viola, is truly buried in the Shipman Cemetery, but my Gt. Aunt (not my Gt. Grandmother as I stated in the earlier email) stated in her letter that her grandfather Elias died in 1915 and was buried in Hobbs Cemetery "between Abbottsburg and Clarkton". I have searched the BCHS books and any other sources I could locate without any luck. She said there WAS a headstone.......wondering if it might have fallen or been removed?.....
