Can anyone on the list identify for me who this Edge is? I have several Leonard's but none of them married an Elizabeth Taylor, or had a daughter named Gertrude. Thanks in advance for any help. Sharon Dover Romanek Gertrude Edge (6 May 1896 Bladen County - 16 May 1984 Fayetteville), daughter of Leonard Edge and Elizabeth Taylor, married 20 December 1913 in Black River Township of Cumberland County James Claude Phillips (June 1875 Sampson County - 21 March 1947 Dunn), son of William H. Phillips and Margaret Ann Smith. Gertrude and James are buried in Dunn's Greenwood Cemetery. Nine children. ====================== Information was from a death certificate that indicated he was from Bladen County. A separate response indicated information on him and family had been found in some book on Bladen families.
