Dear Dee - Dee, I am overwhelmed, what can I say, "Thank you very much". I must admit I haven't worked my Paul family very much in the past year or so, I've been concentrating on my Tn. Jeffers and Ky. Land families. You have given me the inspiration to start digging again. It seems as though there were about five early PAUL families in North Carolina but for the life of me I can't seem to connect any of them. I have a book, Pamticoe Cousins by Clark, that has a large PAUL family in Beaufort Co. NC and I have done research on a large family of PAUL's in Orange Co. I think there must be a connection somewhere, I just haven't found it yet. still digging....... Steve

Yep, I ran across the Orange County ones too. Plus there was a branch that came into Charleston in the mid 1700s. That one really messed me up. George ran through two of the other families. Let me know when you have the time and courage try to sort them out. I hope you find something.
