Hi Ray, Absolutely! But are you saying BOUREAU (1680s) or BOURDEAUX? If BOURDEAUX they are always listed under DE BOURDEAUX (1690s). Who are you looking for? Dee. Dee, I mainly was interested in Enoch Bordeaux who was captured at Fort Fisher during the Civil war and taken to Elmira NY as a POW. He is supposed to be buried in Woodlawn National cemetery there but I cannot find him on the list. Someone had told me that he was listed differently with a last name that sounded something like Bordeaux. Some of the info I have also spells Bordeaux as Bourdeaux. Enoch was my GGGrandfather. Tracing his line back to my 10th Greatfather, Jacques de Bordeaux who came from Grenoble, France to Charleston in 1680. Jacques parents were Evremond de Bordeauxand Catherine Fresene, also of Grenoble. Evremond was Son of Pierre de Bordeaux. Pierre was the son of Francis Purcell of Bordeaux. Francis was a deseendent of Sir Godefroy de Bourdieu who fought in the third crusade in the year 1187 and was knighted by King Phillip II of France. Any thing you can tell me about this line and especially aboout how Enoch Bordeaux is listed in the Woodlawn registry will be greatly appreciated. Hi Ray, I have everything that you mentioned (except the cemetery list) but I have Jacques mother's name as FRESNE. I have the following, let me know what you need. 1. The Will of ANTHONIE DE BOURDEAUX, 1724, Charleston (# 140) 2. A number of very early (pre 1700) warrants for this family (also see spelling De Baurdeaux and DuBourdeaux)(#499) This will get us no where fast. I have this family in, probably, 100 plus books and I would be spinning my wheels since I have no idea what you have. I need to know exactly what you are looking for. The easiest way is for you to send me a list a exact questions.
