    3. I have been keeping and somewhat searching for Lisle Family for a close friend that does not use a computer, if you can believe that. Her Grandfather married a Long in Columbus County, lived in Johnson County (I think Johnson County is correct), he had a brother and business in Wake County. I have found that Anson County has more Lisle names. Some are also in Ga. Don't think I have seen any SOUL/SOULE/SOWELL/SOWLE connected to the ones I have seen. 2. The query board has been unavailable for the past 24 hours. I have no idea why. I do suspect the problems will get worse. Why all the changes? Rootsweb realized 2 years ago that it could not function solely on public support. They have since been commercializing themselves and selling out to other genealogical companies. If you noticed, the query board is now owned by ancestry.com

    3. Hi Dee, I'm sorry; in my haste I didn't include pertanant information:-) The Evans surname is my gr gr grandfather and the Benson is his wife's family (my gr gr grandmother's family). I am trying to locate any type of Land records on these families. The names would be: Benjamin Evans, Sr (1774-after 1850) Benjamin Evans, Jr (1816-between 1871-1880) (These two men may NOT be distinguished by the Sr or Jr on records) Aaron Benson (abt 1806-after 1854) David Benson (abt 1780-after 1831) The Rushing surname was put there by mistake :-) Thanks, Nancy At 10:56 AM 6/27/01 -0400, you wrote: >Nancy, >I need first names. >Where these three families are related? >I also need to know exactly what information you are looking >for on each person, since I have no idea what you already have. >Dee > >For details on sources used, refer to this link: >http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncbladen/lookups.htm >----- Original Message ----- >From: Nancy Parr <nancparr@bellsouth.net> >To: <NCBLADEN-L@rootsweb.com> >Sent: Wednesday, June 27, 2001 10:22 AM >Subject: [NCBLADEN-L] RE: Bladen Look-Ups > > >Good Morning Dee , >Welcome Back :-) When time permits, would you mind looking for these >three surnames: EVANS, BENSON, RUSHING.
