If anyone knows Betty Rhodes please have her contact me. When Dee isn't around I would be willing to do a few lookups as time permits. Will be home for two weeks before going to the mountains of New Mexico to cool off around 9,000 ft elevation. Allen Betty & Allen Johannes abelj@htcomp.net
Deborah --- Good to get your message --- BUT --- when I attempted to post a new message & a reply I had to log in. It stated "In order to use this feature you must be a registered user". Can you help with that.....? I did log on & sent material. Betty --- I am affraid this may be to late for you but will try. Bladen County research can be done in Elizabethtown, NC. It is the County Seat. The Court House is there and they are helpful. The library in E'town is good with a research room with plenty of material. Also you may want to checvk in Bladenboro with Sam Paite (Has material on the internet). I have a Sebellah Odom daughter of Alexander Odom. That is all the information I have on her but her husband, George Bussey was born around 1738 in Calvert Co, Md. then moved to Edgefield Co, S.C. nana22845@aol.com
The boards are still FREE, you don't have to pay to post or to read. The registration provides the user with the opportunity to do mass changes particularly when you change mailing addresses. For those trying to access the board, the URL posted last week appears to be incorrect. I've found the correct URL to be: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/board/an/localities.northam.usa.states.northcarolina.counties.bladen/25/next Note that there is a "/1" after the word "Bladen" removed from the URL that was previously published. If you are seeing the Bladen page without the queries listed, you can also back out one step to the "Counties" page, then choose Bladen from the list, then reset you favorites. Hope this helps. Does this mean that one will have to register and pay Ancestry to pots and reply to messages on the Query board? I answered several queries - I am registered now for a few months. What about those who are not registered? I was hoping that we would be able to share freely. Just curios. Maybe we have gotten too big and there is money to be made.
