I believe your map may be from Edward Moseley's map of 1733. That map has been used in several books. One I can think of is the Singletary family book. Deborah Byrd

My 4x ggf is Samuel Johnson, father of the Rev. Elias Davis Johnson, who later lived in Robeson County. I think I need to start with his father before I can move on to the reverend, so whatever you may have on Samuel, besides what is in the Heritage book, I surely would appreciate it. Many thanks, Lynn Prettyman Baltimore, MD marylindsay1@home.com

There are no deeds. >From # 10 Durrell, John, Onslow County, 1771 This is the only mention I can find, - there's not a single listing in the Testator's Index, Bladen County Heritage Book or any of the state books.
