She married James Lafayette 'Tate' Pridgen born 10-13-1862 in Kelly; died 7-24-1931 Pender Co., NC They had 9 children, all of which were born in Kelly. Records indicate that Tate and Sarah Catherine Pridgen are buried on their farm in Pender Co., NC. James Lafayette 'Tate' Pridgen is brother to the above Jefferson Davis Pridgen.
