----- Original Message ----- From: Bars To: Sent: Monday, December 17, 2001 9:26 AM Subject: Fw: virus alert! I had it! I too found the following Execute program on my harddrive. It's up to you to decide if you want to delete it, if you have it. I have also been plaqued with the W32 virus for the last two weeks. My computer became so slow, it could barely function. I recommend you download the latest version of Norton Anti-virus to detect and destroy this worm if you have it in your computer. It did not detect the following described virus. Mike Please! A friend of mine sent this message to me and I checked my files and the virus was there. Please follow the directions and get it off your computer. It will sit dormant for 14 days and then kill you hard drive. Please do not disregard this message! . Please follow the quick steps to ensure that you don't. Please do not disregard this message! Tom Lopac sent this and the church computers had the virus. He said that it will sit dormant for 14 days and then kill your hard drive! Please follow the quick steps to ensure that you don't lose your hard drive. It transfers to anyone in your address book. Please forward this message on to everyone in your address book! Here's how to fix it; it doesn't take long. Better safe than sorry. 1. Go to Start- then to 'Find' or 'Search' 2. In the 'Search for files or folders' type in sulfnbk.exe this is the virus 3. In the 'Look in' make sure you're searching Drive C 4. Hit 'Search' button (or Find) 5. If this file shows up (it's an ugly blackish icon that will have the name sulfnbk.exe) ***DON'T OPEN IT*** 6. Right click on the file - go down to Delete and left click 7. It will ask if you want to send it to the recycle bin...say yes 8. Go to your desktop (where all your icons are) and double click on the recycle bin 9. Right click to Empty the recycle bin or Right click on sulfnbk.exe and Delete again. If you've got it, it may have been sent to everyone in your address book. So, if you found the icon, send this message to everyone in your address book, because that's how it gets transferred in the first place. Again..sorry
Dee could you please look in sources #25, 116, 120, 150 for references to Raeford Faircloth and wife Martha? They are my great great grandparents and I am looking for more on this family. I have lots of loose ends to tie up on them and their descendants. I have tried the Sampson list to no avail, and hope you might have something on them.I would love anything at all. I do have a partial will abstract from a Lucy Faircloth who left her holdings to Reddin Williams, who was her brother in law. Lucy was the daughter of Raeford and Martha. Elna-Jean, I am gladly sending you the Butler index from the Sampson Cemetery books, but in checking for your Bunnel, and Wiley Rose Mathews (or Matthews) ancestors I find nothing on them in Sampson County Will Abstracts, the Sampson County Heritage, and the cemetery listings (by Bunnel and cross-referencing Mathews/Williams). The only listings in the North Carolina Testator's Index (1665-1900) are for Edward Bunnell (1825), Embly Bunnell (1803) and John B. Bunnell, all of Currituck County. In NC Taxpayers: Edward Bunnell is in Currituck in 1779 and Moses Bunnell is in Currituck in 1755. As you can see most of my books are too early for your named ancestors. I hope you find something in the Butler list of names. Dee Subject: Sampson Cemeteries: BUTLER >From # 197 Ella Jane Peterson Butler Marion Butler, Jr. John Martin Butler Eva M.
