I think the discussion of those long gone provides both the opportunity for younger researchers to gain an insight into the lives of those whose interaction with us shaped our lives in later years and also adds one of the most difficult and rare aspects of genealogy - the "fleshing out" of all those obscure names and dates we collect. But Aaron was my GGG Grandfather. He had 2 children, Owen James, and Mary. Owen had several children, one of which was Luther Heman, my great-grandfather. He married Hattie Hall, and they had 9 children, one of which was my grandfather, Leroy Heman. My dad is Leroy Herman, and there's his brother, Charles Thurman, and his sister, Virginia Agnes. Luther Heman had a half-brother (Owen's 2nd wife) named Chermon. My dad said had he known about Chermon when his brother was born, they would have named him Chermon.
