    1. [NCBERTIE] William BRYANT SPIVEY
    2. Cathy Farris
    3. Dear Group, Perhaps someone may know the answer to this bit of puzzlement? Does anyone know if there are two William SPIVEY's in Bertie about the same time? I793 I found a record for William SPIVEY in the Bastardy Bonds as father to a single woman name Elizabeth PIERCE...see verbatim below. Then for the Bertie marriages I found: 1794 Wm SPIVEY - Winney WARD 16 Dec 1794 Jonathan SPIVEY This marriage corresponds with the will I sent last night. Does anyone know the name of the child William and Elizabeth produced? She could have been one named on the will I sent last night, however, I am not familiar with them yet. Thanks, Cathy (William BRYAN SPIVEY son of Elizabeth CHURCHWELL/HARRELL/SPIVEY/BRYAN(T) She married Jonathan SPIVEY abt 1756. He died about 1764. She then married Jesse BRYANT.
