I've seen those charts....but don't have a url handy. maybe someone else does.... These charts actually let you use the month/day and then come up with the birthdate. However, what I do is just subtract the age from the date of the Census....which gives an estimated date by the year. (I don't think this is your question though) Comparing the various years of census can show you the variations....and many times even the age they gave the enumerator was incorrect....depending on who actually gave the information and how accurate they wanted to be. Probably by 1920 they were giving more accurate information.
