Edward Ralph Outlaw served as a Captain of Company "C", N.C. 11th Regiment during the War for Southern Independance. He was born November 30, 1840 in Bertie County and died at Nag Head, N.C. August 19, 1921. He is buried in the St. Thomas Episcopal Church Cemetery in Windsor, N.C. On November 10, 1868 he married Lucy Rascoe daughter of John Peter Rascoe and Martha M. Bond Rascoe. Lucy was born in 1850 and died in 1931. She is also buried at St Thomas. Liberty Hall Plantation was given to Edward and Lucy by Lucy's parents. The home was orginally owned by Lewis Bond, brother-in-Law to John Peter Rascoe. Lewis sold the place to J.P. Rascoe and removed to Tennessee. Edward and Lucy Outlaw's first child was named Jannie Outlaw and she was born about 1869. Can anyone tell me the names of Edward"s and Lucys other children? Also need dates of births and other vital information. Also need exact dates of Lucy birth and death. All help appreciated. James R.
