I am trying to find out where my greatgrandfather, Jeremiah Slade and his wife, Penny(Penelope) maiden name unknown, came from before showing up on the 1840,1850 Northampton Census, and was wondering if any of you Bertie searchers had seen them in crossreference to your searches. Jeremiah was born about 1795, give or take a year. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Laurie Slade
