Janet, I don't know anything about these Clarks, but would not be surprised if there is a connection between them, and James Lewis Wilson of Williamston who preached at both Martin Co (on the Slade farm) and Edgecombe Co at Tarboro.. I do have a few Clark mentions on the Wilson records that I have gathered and would be happy to send them to you if you like.
