I'm coming to Bertie County, NC next week and was wondering if there is an active genealogical society in the county that could help me with my research on the STONE family(my grgrgrgrandmother was Anne STONE). Since her marriage bond was done in Bertie Co., we assume that her family was from Bertie Co.. Can anyone help me with this? thank you in advance. jeanh
