Dear Group, I have recently found information on Blount PEARCE. Does anyone know him? He is the son of Thomas PEARCE and Mourning SPIVEY PEARCE. She was also know as Mourning BRYAN after her father Jonathan SPIVEY died, her mother Elizabeth CHURCHWELL HARRELL SPIVEY then married Jesse BRYAN. Mourning has a brother named William BRYAN SPIVEY. I found him on a document as an orphan of Mourning PEARCE in 1818. However he is about 26 by 1818. On the document cover it reads Blount PIERCE and then the names: Maria RHODES Louisa RHODES Harriet RHODES Who are these girls to him? And does anyone know more about Blount? He had a brother named William PEARCE that was born about 1794. Blount was born about 1795 or so in Bertie. The father Thomas died about 1798. Thanks, Cathy
