Don't know anything about him. Except he had at least one child named John Cook who was born in NC in 1813. When John married in KY in 1832, James gave his consent as John was not quite 21. Don't know if James just went for the marriage, of if he lived someplace in Ky. If anyone can offer any help, it will be appreciated. This man is my brick wall.
