SC by Sellers and do not see a William Brogden listed in the Civil War section. Closest surnames are Brogsden & Bragdon but no William. The book Ancestral Key to the Pee Dee by Betha has an entry, a John Brogdon son William b ca 1830 but no further information about William. Some of the William sibling names include Martha, Elizabeth,Edward,Ann, Rebecca. The E. Brogsden listed in the Sellers Civil War section maybe Edward. Edward served in Company L,10th regiment, SC Volunteers, Confederate States Provisional Army. Good luck.
