You might try Cass County, IL. There was a large group from Bertie that went there around 1835. They then scattered - some stayed (mostly in the Beardstown area), some went across the river into MO, and some went to Texas (as late as 1849). I know that some of that group ended up in Corsicana, TX, as well as Dallas County. Some of the Cass County cemeteries are on line. I know that Beardstown is, or was.
