Here is information concerening Jonathan Kittrell and James Meglohon. Note the court case against Kittrell. Seems Meglohon m. Kittrell's widown. SOURCE: COURT CASE Chowan Precinct September 1, 1722 James Meglohon bring action against Johanthan Kitterill, Sr. for slander in that said Kitterill called him a rogue and a thief. Kitterill was not in court. May 14, 1723 case called and Kitterill was present but Meglohon did not appear. Case dismissed against Kitterill and court costs were to be paid by Meglohon.
