I would be interested also. Sallie H Parker was born in 4/1/1912 to Wiley Hudson Parker and Juddie Harrell Parker. A picture of her grave stone in the Harrell and Connor cemetery shows her date of birth as above and her death on 5/2/1930. If someone is going to the courthouse and could find any further evidence on her birth and death, I would appreciate it. I'm interested in the cause of her death; family rumor is that is was rheumatic fever. July 1897) Charlie - daughter (b. 1909) The next child to survive (Bessie) was born in August 1911. The final child (Roy) was born in 1914. Cottie lived to be about 8 years old, I'm told. I have been unable to locate a 1900 census record for the family. Starkey died in 1916, so Sarah is alone with the children in the 1920 census. What are your suggestions? I no longer live in North Carolina so cannot get to the courthouse. I do have Ancestry.com but have not been able to locate them. Thanks.
