I agree Alan, BUT it would be Helpful and Respectful to those who are not interested in certain Posts and/or Topics, IF the SUBJECT is clear about what the post contains! i.e. Recipes, this never ending respectful disagreement thread (reminds me of the song my daughter sang for years "This is the song that never ends" from Sherry Lewis and Lampchops, the cookbook thread, etc. It will also be helpful to those of us who ARE interested in what the post contains, but the subject gives you no real clue, as it is often a reply to someone elses post without a change in the TOPIC, so we don't have to read the post to see if there is something there we are interested in.... So can't we ALL agree, to make sure we CHANGE THE SUBJECT, so it is clear what the post contains? And then, if we aren't interested in or don't like the Subject as in the Recipes thread, one can just hit delete without fear of missing something you are interested in. And a special Hi to Linda Fields, I too am a Fields by birth... maybe we can share some genealogy data?!? Just let me know ;-) After all that is the main reason we are all here, even though I personally believe everything about our ancestors is relevant.
