Then the genealogical details, the reason for which this list exists, will be so buried that many of us will not have time to search for them. I personally favor saving and sharing old and new recipes but I suggest that this is a subject better handled on a list set up for that purpose. It would be a good idea to have a board for Family History which is the time period for our ancestors and how they lived . I respectfully disagree with both of you. When we ignore the lifeways of our ancestors then genealogy becomes merely names and numbers. Genealogy is about people, about roots and about lifeways. The way our ancestors lived formed the people we became. So, a few recipes and descriptions of homesites and barns, etc. should be welcomed. They bring life to, mostly faceless, people that are names and dates on our charts.
