I have the following Carters connected to my Tayloe family. Turner Carter, who died before 1835 Bertie Co. married Sarah Collins Watson d/o John Watson, Jr. and Mary Lassiter. Sarah Collins Watson was of the same Watson family who married Jonathan Stanley Tayloe. The above mentioned Turner Carter was the son of Cullen Carter whose will was probated 1804 Bertie Co. and Margaret Rhodes. Margaret Rhodes was previously married to Thomas Leggett. Margaret's sister, Elizabeth Rhodes, married 1795 David Tayloe who was the father of Jonathan Stanley Tayloe. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lou Craig" <lcraig@myglnc.com> To: <ncbertie@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, August 18, 2009 9:06 PM Subject: Re: [NCBERTIE] Carter > Carol > > I have info on Annie Hasseltine Carter, b 7/31/1833 d 1/03/1854 who > married > Lewis Bond in 12/04/1851.
