I know of a Willis Nichols that went from Bertie County to Caswell County and then to Hinds County Mississippi where he died in 1833. Brian, There was a Wright Nichols who moved to Hinds Co., MO, and died in 1833. He was b. in 1771 and married Sallie Burch in 1791 in Caswell Co. He was a brother of the Willis Nichols who I have as dying in Madison Co., TN, bef 1850. This is from another researcher, but I don't have her source for this. If you have proof that he died in Hinds Co., please let me know and I will change my records. I've seen court records mentioning these Nichols men in both Caswell and Person counties, so they must have lived near the county line, or had property in both counties. Willis Nichols who lived in Person Co. had the following sons: Micajah Wright, b. 1 June 1771 Willis, Jr., b. ca 1785 Mathias, d. bef Nov 1812 Linda Brian Nichols wrote: > I know of a Willis Nichols that went from Bertie County to Caswell County > and then to Hinds County Mississippi where he died in 1833. > >
