    3. I just received this email from one of our members....want to put this out there for all of your considerations. Anyone interested? Please contact me about your interest or if this can be done if you would be interested in participating. Claudia Harrell Williams Mmaker52@aol.com CC Bertie County Hello Claudia: I have been so impressed with The Bertie County surname list. Has anyone considered a possible reunion which could be categorized by surname. It might be a boom to the Bertie County economy and perform a real desire for many to deepen our exploration for our roots. My name is Richard R. Lawrence. My great grandmother was Anne Lawrence who was born in Bertie County in 1823. She and her family can be traced via the census records until 1880. Although I live in New Jersey, I was contacted by a "cousin" from my grandfather's sister as a result of the Bertie County web site. This new found "cousin" lives on Long Island and I hope to meet her in the future. My e-mail is zsgrammie@aol.com
