Debbie, I am a Fields by marriage and would be glad to discuss the Fields family lines with you. I believe my email address is listed ,you can contact me at my email address. I am researching Fields/Phillips, Thompson/ Davis, Evers/ Guyton, -Hilburn - Carroll-Cheshire/Fitzrandolph -Parker/ Regan- Sessums Edwards/ Stanley, (Stanaland, Ross-Smith- Norris Milliken and several more . These families have early roots in Bladen, Brunswck. Columbus, Robeson Co, NC I have a special interest with William Evers, wife Elizabeth (Unknown maiden name) and son James Evers born 1740 in Bertie Co. i can track James Evers 1740 and his descendants down till today but have no idea where the Evers family came from that lived in Bertie. I cannot go backward after 1740 with anything definite.Just bits and pieces ,i cannot connect. Very few known Evers at that time.
