Claudia, I hope you don't get discouraged with all the negative response to the recipe issue. BERTIE is just a very busy site. I am new to it and have not been on one with as much traffic BUT I have/am on some that have NO traffic. What one needs to realize is that any time you look at a posting and it is not your family, you are disappointed. I don't see that the subject matter is going to save time although they should change the subject line so it will not be automiatically deleted. Most of us do not do this for pay so time should not be an element. Thank you Sherry. By the way we only had 5-6 negative responses on the recipe issue. Believe it or not most of what I have gotten on this has been positive. Everything that our ancestors did affects us even to this day believe it or not. Many of us feel the Bertie site is not only a genealogical site but a family site as well. I have no problems putting anyone that would like in Digest mode. I do realize with 267 members we will not please everyone and will go with the majority. Thanks for your support!
