My grandmother was Mamie Tillery Byrd and she married Lonnie James Bird who died during the Great Flu Epidemic of 1918. Mamie's mother was Mary Elizabeth Casper and her father was E.L. Tillery. I am researching the Bird/Byrd/Smith families in and around Roxobel.  My father never knew his dad because Dad was only 2 1/2 years old, so I am having a hard time with my father's line. His father was Lonnie James Byrd and his grandfather was William "Tom" Byrd.  "Tom" Byrd I believe used to have a house in Roxobel.  William "Tom" Byrd was born in Rich Square in 1859. Gerald

    2. My grandfather was John Thomas Bryant.? He was married twice, the first ending in death in what I believe was giving birth.? From that mariage Celle Crusoe Bryant was born.? My grandfather then married Drusillia Todd and there were three boys and 3 girls.? My father was John Raleigh Bryant.? I am the youngest and only surviving member of that family.? I have coniderably more info if you would like I can send anther time.If this is the right John Thomas Bryant, they lived in the Elm Grove area, not Colerain.? For years I have been sending genealogical info so others could see or add additional info. Can you help and list the ones and how they are communicated. Until recently I was not aware of a surname listing until I printed out nine pages of surnames and the researchers but no way to contact them except in a few cases where the email was included. Where do I go from there to here?
