Copies of the original were made in Jan. 2002 at the NCArchives by Cathy Hart Farris. These records are of people I am researching. I793 I found a record for William SPIVEY in the Bastardy Bonds as father to a single woman name Elizabeth PIERCE...see verbatim below. Then for the Bertie marriages I found: 1794 Wm SPIVEY - Winney WARD 16 Dec 1794 Jonathan SPIVEY This marriage corresponds with the will I sent last night. Does anyone know the name of the child William and Elizabeth produced? She could have been one named on the will I sent last night, however, I am not familiar with them yet. Daniel Rascoe was a son of Arthur Rascoe and Elizabeth (Bentley) Rascoe. Arthur Rascoe made his will in Bertie County in 1796 naming his children: Sarah Rascoe, Daniel Rascoe, Margaret Rascoe, Mildred Rascoe, and Frances Rascoe. Daniel Rascoe was born about 1785 and married Mary or Polly Hunter in Bertie County January 27, 1807. Daniel Rascoe was enumerated in the 1810 census of Bertie County but does not appear in later censuses. What happened to Daniel Rascoe and his family? James R. Rasco

Celia White Phelps 5/3/1875-6/30/1947 One marker had fallen over. I think this was Celia's husband Jim (James) Phelps. These two were outside of the fence. J.T.
