IS there any land records for MASHBURN ARE WILSON in the LATE 1700 or early 1800 LA VERA JONES
Janet, I have Birds/Byrds who lived mostly in Bertie County. My great grandfather was William Thomas Byrd who was born in 1859. His father was James Bird whose residence is shown on an early map of Bertie County. His father was James Bird based on a marriage license. I feel like those other Birds/Byrds are related but so far I haven't been able to make a connection. Note to Virginia .. I was in the AF during the Korean War with Archie Outland, Jr. form Kelford. His dad ran the store there. Know him? I have photos. After the war, and college, we both worked at CT&T together. I left and went to ITT in Raleigh and he stayed with CT&T in Fayetteville. Bob (Robert McLemore) Butler .. Most of the NA Barbres (and Barbare/Barbaree/Barbrey/etc.)are descended from Jean Barberie who arrived in NYC from France in April 1688. He had 2 sons, Pierre and Jean Pierre. All the different spellings of Barberie are descended from a son of Jean Pierre and that is also Jean Pierre (1698-1770),but he was called Peter. He married in NY to Elizabeth DuSauchoy and they had 2 sons Abraham (1723-abt 1762)b. in NY and Peter (abt.1725-abt1777)b. in NC & d. Bertie Co. He seems to have spelled his name Barbarie and his son Peter (1751-abt 1783) tended to spell his name Barbaree. I am going to do a DNA project and prove the above. Barbara, This is called mold and can be cleaned with a mixture of white vinegar mixed 1 cup vinegar to 2 cups water. Spray on and it will kill the mold. You do not even need to scrub. It sometimes does not instantly go away. It can be used on lawns as well to rid them of the green mold. Am slow in reading emails so someone else may have sent another one that is better. Last year someone had a solution for this issue and I have had a computer crash so do not have it. Elizabeth Johnson Schoeb
