Wilcox and lived in what is now Avery Co., but apparently before 1911 was Mitchell Co. Her children were Jim (1863- ), Betty (1867- ), Malinda (1871-1913), David R. (1872-1933), John (1873- ), Jacob or Jake (1880?-1904), Mary (1876- ), Rhoda (1877-1907), my grandmother Minnie (1882-1964), and Joe (1886?-1923). Any information will be welcome.
