Donna: Do you have any information on David Lenoir's brother, Ervin Carpenter. He is my husband's direct ancestor and had two children that I know of: Mary Jane and Todd. I have not been able to find a word about him after 1860 so I have no idea who he married. I believe she could have been Native American. He just drops off the face of the earth - perhaps in the Civil War. Audrey
