Hi! I am looking for information regarding Richard P. SMITH and Eliza J.(SMITH) SMITH who lived in Watauga/Avery counties.In particular I am seeking the date of deaths and burial sites for both. I know that Richard died around 1922 as a coffin is listed under estate expenses. Eliza probably died between 1910-1920 as she is in the 1910 census but not the 1920.I have traced Richard's family back to Rockingham county, NC but except for the marriage date and names of Eliza's parents have hit a total brick wall regarding her family.
