He was murdered in 1968 but it was ruled a suicide, until the murderer confessed on his death bed to the Sheriff of the County who let our immiedate family know. I want everyone to know, I went to our house today to show my kids where I grew up in Banner Elk and one of the neighbors I talked to said the town store owner told her the history behind our house. I want his name cleared we went over 25 years thinking he had killed himself, I was young but my mom and older sisters knew all along as well as did a lot of other people. I was made fun of and my dad was called names, I want his name cleared how do I do it?
