I have not received this information before. Thanks again. Something I doesn't understand is the date that you have on Hugh Taylor. I have him down as being borne in 1796. You have him born in 1824 or something to that effect. Hugh had a illegimate son in 1832. I hardly think that he could have fathered a son at the age of 1832. What do you think about that. I am very interested in why the Taylor brothers left their father in South Carolina. According to Cozie Taylor, Martin Dooley Taylor was a very good fininical condition. Some writings of Cozie's stated that Martin Dooley Taylor had a large plantation with many slaves. Why would someone leave all of that and start out on their own? Do you have any thoughts on that?
