NC Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/NC/Avery/457 Surname: CRAWLEY ------------------------- In going through some old papers, our grandmother who was born in 1878 in North Carolina, (not sure where), after her mother and all but one of her siblings died from a fever, their father Richard CRAWLEY took her and her sister to stay with some friends in Elk Park, Avery County, N.C. until he got settled in Kansas, then he sent for them.
