    3. I have been given two names for Moulton's father One is Arthur is one is John. None proven. I have the Avery County Heritage Book Vol II and I thought I had it figured out a couple of years ago BUT I'm having reservations. I had had in my notes that Molton (who had a sister Harriett that m. a Pannell) was the s/o JOHN, s/o George b. 6/6/1818, s/o Arthur who m. Tempy Vance. Arthur and Temperance (Vance) Buchanan did not have a son named Molton. They did have a son named Arthur who drowned in the Toe River at ca age 18 and did not marry. He was a prize fighter.
