I'm looking for any cousins that might be able to help me with some questions I have on the death of my great grandfather ELI JOHNSON. ELI died ca. 1920's. He was shot off his horse. I believe he was living in Ashe Co. when he died. I was wondering if there is any newspapers on MicroFiche that the FHC might have. As far as my family knows his murder was never solved or maybe just stories that have passed down. ELI was married to DELPHINIA OSBORNE on 23 Dec 1899 she died of TB at the age of 24 and left 4 young children. Eli split the children up, not being able to care for 4 young children they all lived with different family members. Would like to know if any one knows where Eli and Delphinia are buried?
