Looking for information on James Lewis who married Winnie Henson in Ashe County. I am descended from them as follows: James/Winnie, John/Rachel Henson, Enoch/Margarett Thompson, Stephen/Nancy Eldridge, Andrew/Naomi Eldridge, Lonie/Cyntha LeMaster, Herbert/Christine Adkins, Herbert (me). It would appear that John and Enoch (at the minimum) migrated from North Carolina to the Morgan/Lawrence/Elliott county areas of Kentucky. James migrated to Leslie county, Ky where he died in 1825.
