Hi Carol, I'd like to know the same thing! I'm not sure where my Duvalls were before North Carolina. I think most researchers of this line have been trying to tie us into the Mareen Duvall family of Maryland, but as far as I know no one has made a firm connection. Maybe the Virginia route is worth exploring--would you send me (privately, I guess, since we're sort of off the Ashe County topic) more information on Comfort Duvall? Thanks!
