Hi, another Blevins in the area I am from Salem, Virginia. Don't know if your Alfred Blevins and David Jesse Blevins are part of our family from Ashe County or not. Have several Alfred's in the family but no trace forward on them only back to James Blevins born in 1740 in England married to Elizabeth Ward and then to Montgomery County, Va. and Ashe County, NC.
