Lisa, Hi, I am a descendant of Henry Gambill and Marie Davenport, also. Their daughter Sarah married John White, and their daughter Nancy White married Joseph Carr in LA. They were my 4GGrparents ! Their daughter Luci Marie Carr married James McLaughlin in St Martinville Parish LA. Their son Stanton M. McLaughlin married Artemesias (Artie) Buxton and had my GGrmother Ellen McLaughlin. Ellen married Joseph Frank Varner, my GGrfather. I really thank you for sharing. I would love to have any and everything you are willing to share. Especially, documentation, stories, legends, pictures, where gravesites are, old home places, etc. How are you connected ? Are we cousins ?
